1. info@hand Customer Relationship Business Management (CRBM):
Joomla! CMS has the capability of integrations with full features CRM and ERP systems. We use this CRBM solution that integrates with Joomla! CMS to run our business. This platform offers a complete transaction lifecycle management solution. It even synchronizes with QuockBooks accounting software. Wordpress and Drupal are limited in this area and do not have any comparable integrations.
2. JomSocial and Community Building Extensions:
Social community building tools with event management groups, friends, activity streams and much more. You can use this collaboration model to build team synergy and communicate to your very own private or public social network. Wordpress and Drupal are limited in this area and have few comparable alternatives, where Joomla! CMS has several.
3. JoomlaLMS cost effective learning management:
JoomlaLMS offers a full featured SCORM Compliant Learning Management System (LMS). Great solution for online training or certificate programs. Wordpress and Drupal are very limited in this area and do not have any comparable integrations.
4. Over 7000 extensions and counting:
Joomla! CMS offers thee largest collection of 3rd party extensions for an open source CMS. Wordpress and Drupal do not have nearly the available choices and feature capabilities in their collections.
5. World Class designs:
Joomla! CMS has 1000’s of beautiful and compelling full featured design templates. Wordpress and Drupal have some comparable templates but fewer choices.
6. Training resources:
Joomla! CMS has numerous free and subscription based training resources online and accessible any time you need it. Wordpress and Drupal some comparable training options but fewer choices.
7. Popularity:
Joomla! CMS us rated number one in Europe as the web publishing tool of choice and is used on over 2.6% of all web sites worldwide. Wordpress is comparable in popularity but Drupal falls significantly behind this and neither has the same scale of a contributing development community.
8. Development Support:
Since Joomla is so widely accepted and continues to gain momentum there is a global network of talent available to provide technical and consulting support for this platform. The number of templates and extensions available for Joomla! CMS vs Wordpress or Drupal speak to this.
9. Open source:
The Joomla! CMS is open source and flexible for expanding business use cases and future proofing your business. Wordpress and Drupal are also both open source code base. The choice for us in this area came down to the fact we have already so much expertise on our team with Joomla! CMS we found the code base much easier to work with.
10. Ease of use:
Joomla is easy to administer for non-technical personnel and fun in an almost addictive way to use. Drupal offers a solid framework but requires more technical expertise to manage. Wordpress is simple and relatively easy to use but is very limited in capabilities unless you have advanced skills to modify code. We found it is a much greater value for our customers to offer the ease of use for content contributors combined with the scalability of the nearly unlimited features and extensions available with the Joomla! CMS.
Our team offers service and support for Joomla! CMS. We have carefully considered a variety of technology platforms before settling on Joomla! CMS as our preferred development platform. While others can offer potential value we truly believe in most cases Joomla! CMS will offer a superior solution and a more cost effective platform for managing your business, resource repositories, training systems or online communities.
